National Geographic Emerging Explorer 2021-2022, National Geographic Society Washington, D.C.
Lehua was awarded a National Geographic Emerging Explorer Award in June 2021 for her work in the practice of non-instrument navigation. She plans to improve the ways learners around the world can find meaningful relationships to the natural world and take action to protect it.
